Women in Leadership Mentorship Programme

Empowering Women through Mentorship

AMCHAM T&T, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank invite you to participate in
the fifth Cohort of the Women in Leadership Mentorship Programme.

Women from our member companies are invited to apply to be paired with and mentored by
senior professionals (both local and international) in their field. This programme will provide mentees with
the opportunity to grow professionally and personally by learning from their mentors, while subsequently
giving mentors the opportunity to develop leadership competencies and expand their networks.

So sign up to be a mentor or mentee!

TESTIMONIALS FROM PARTICIPANTS OF THE 2021 COHORT

"I had not taken the time to formally develop a personal development plan and truly evaluate my progress thus far, this programme helped me commit to doing just that.  I experienced growth and gained insights into leadership first and foremost for myself then others.  My mentor had a wealth of experience to share and was a great listener, excellent contributor and committed to keeping me on track.  I started off being quite challenged in taking the floor at public events.  Midway into this programme, I noticed a positive change in my public engagements.  I credit this programme with the improvement and will carry the learning with me and hopefully pay it forward.  I truly feel empowered to continue on my journey. "

"Having a mentor kept me accountable as I now had someone else actively looking out for my growth and goal achievements.  Having an invested person to bounce ideas off of and seek advice from was a motivating bonus when it came to setting and achieving my personal goals."

Danielle De Freitas (2021 Mentee)

"It was very fulfilling to know that I had the opportunity to help an aspiring female professional create a map to achieve the things she wanted for her life, based on my experience, knowledge and insights. A new friendship was an added bonus."

- Dr. Karrian Hepburn Malcolm (2021 Mentor)
