Dr. Nesha Beharry-Borg is a Director of Centrascape, a leading landscaping company and garden center in Trinidad and Tobago. She decided to join the world of entrepreneurship in 2017 to lead the next generation of growth and success at Centrascape. While reinforcing the company's traditions of making a positive difference to its employees and clients, she is driven by an ambition to demonstrate by example the importance of incorporating sustainability at all levels of business in Trinidad and Tobago.

Dr. Beharry is an Environmental Economist by training and has worked on environmental issues in the Caribbean and internationally. She read for her Ph.D. at the University of York in the UK where she worked on the valuation of coastal water quality for Tobago. Before joining Centrascape, she was appointed the National Coordinator for the GEF SGP (Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program) at UNDP in Trinidad and Tobago. She also held a lectureship position at the University of Leeds where she lectured on sustainability and worked on the application of environmental economics to a range of policy relevant environmental issues including, water, agriculture and land use, tourism and climate change.
