Dr. Amy Diehl worked in higher education information technology for the past 26 years, currently serving as chief information officer at Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She holds a Ph.D. in administration and leadership studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Cybersecurity has been part of her portfolio since the beginning of her career; not only from a technical perspective, but also security policy, safeguarding procedures, and risk assessment. In addition, Dr. Diehl is an expert on gender bias affecting women in the workplace. Her research has been published in scholarly articles and book chapters, and she is a conference speaker, guest lecturer and consultant. She was named to the 2020 EdTech Dean’s List of Higher Ed IT Influencers Worth a Follow and was recognized in 2019 by the Central Penn Business Journal as a Woman of Influence.
