Mr. Ronald Adams is a senior energy sector executive with thirty years of experience across the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream sectors of the energy industry. Mr. Adams held leadership positions in General Management, Operations, Engineering and Business Development in organizations in Trinidad and Tobago and North America.
Prior to assuming his role in Atlantic as Chief Executive Officer, Ron served at Shell Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. in the capacity of General Manager Upstream Assets, having responsibility for production, wells reliability, and facilities management, maintenance reliability and turnaround management, integrated activity planning, logistics, discipline engineering management and cost management. He has also worked extensively in a
variety of roles within petrochemical companies in the Pt. Lisas Industrial Estate including NGC, where he served as Vice President Operations.
Mr. Adams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies St. Augustine, and an MBA with a specialization in Strategic Planning from Herriot-Watt University (Edinburgh School of Business). He is a proven transformational leader with an ability to quickly grasp key business drivers and develop strategies to drive excellence by building focused, aligned, and high-performing teams to achieve Corporate
and Business objectives and targets. He has well established relationships with energy industry leaders and his extensive executive and Board
membership experience in both the private and public sectors, guide the delivery of corporate strategic and governance objectives.
Mr. Adams currently serves as a Director on the Boards of the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, United Way of Trinidad and Tobago and the National Energy Skills Center. He previously served as a Director on the Boards of the Environmental Management Authority and the Trinidad and Tobago
Bureau of Standards.
