Sneha has over 25 years of oil and gas industry experience. Sneha is currently vp sustainability transformation in bp. She started her career as a geologist in Houston and has held a variety of technical and leadership roles both domestic and international. She worked with BP in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, Onshore US, India, and Technology. She has worked across the value chain from access to late field life management & divestment. Sneha spent 4 years as in India as vice president leading bp’s Upstream business in India. It was through that assignment in India, where she developed an appreciation for the dual challenge (needing more and cleaner forms of energy) and importantly how the individual and how a company can influence energy policy and make a difference to people’s lives.

From finding and getting oil and gas out of the ground, she shifted contexts to storing fluids -- as Carbon Solutions Manager she reviewed opportunities and developed subsurface capability to capture and store CO2 emissions. And now in the reinvented bp she has stepped out to sustainability where she can bring her industry experience and critical thinking to harness the brain power our industry has to offer in developing solutions to the crises - climate, social and planet- the world is facing today.



Sneha has a BSc Geology from the University of Texas at Austin and a MSc Geology from Stanford University
