Ms. Alicia Lucien-Baptiste is the Principal of the Russell Latapy Secondary School. She has been attached to the school for the past 22 years, having worked through the ranks of Teacher, Head of Department and Vice-Principal before being appointed Principal in 2017. She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in History with Government and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education both from the University of the West Indies. She also holds a Master Degree in Curriculum and Educational Leadership from the Mount St. Vincent University, Halifax, Nova Scotia and has recently submitted her thesis for her Doctoral Degree in Education at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

Ms. Lucien-Baptiste also currently serves as an Executive Member on the Association of Principals of Public Secondary Schools.
